Engineering firm moves to West Monroe

Longtime Monroe engineering firm Ford, Bacon and Davis completed its move to Richland Tower this week, bringing more than 100 jobs to West Monroe.

Senior vice president Michael Cruse said the company's first full day of operations in its new location was Tuesday. Richland Tower is located on North 7th Street next to Trenton Street Golf Course.

The engineering firm originally opened its offices in Monroe in 1931, and for decades it was located at South Jackson Street in downtown Monroe.
