Driving through town the other day I came up behind a car with a bumper sticker that read, "Until the power of love overcomes the love of power, then there will be no peace on earth." How true this is! So many of us have become obsessed with how much power we have that we forget the strongest power in this lifetime is love.
Remember what the apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not selfseeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
How many of us today have this kind of love? Do you have this kind of love?
The Bible is so clear on what we need to know about world peace, yet no one seems to understand that love is what it is all about.
