Area teams in final
The 13-14 year old Dixie Youth State tournament in Shreveport has been full of great performances by Ouachita Parish teams this week.
The Monroe All-Stars defeated West Monroe 14-1 on Tuesday to stay undefeated and reach the state championship game.
The two clubs met in the first round of the double-elimination tournament Friday with Monroe winning 12-6.
