Anderson sets scholarship record at CCS

Claiborne Christian School softball pitcher Kara Anderson made her college choice official Friday.

Anderson signed with Hiwassee College in Madisonville, Tenn. She becomes the first Lady Crusader softball player in the history of the school to receive a college scholarship.

"I feel honored and it is just a great feeling," Anderson said. "It is great to know that so many great players have played softball here and out of all of them I am the first one to sign with a college. It is a great feeling."
