ULM picked third in Sun Belt
The University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks were selected to tie for third in the preseason media poll released Monday during the first day of Sun Belt Conference Media Days.
ULM head coach Todd Berry and starting quarterback Kolton Browning met with members of the media by teleconference for almost half an hour Monday discussing the progress the program has made in spring practice and summer workouts. The Warhawks finished the 2010 season with a 5-7 mark.
ULM lost a pair of conference games by a combined eight points that would have surely given the school it's first bowl appearance in school history.
