Bridging the gap: City of WM to build crosswalk at Louisville Bridge The city of West Monroe will be required to use $200,000 in federal stimulus funding to build a crosswalk section at the foot of the Louisville Bridge to appease federal and state agencies.

During Tuesday's regular meeting of the West Monroe Board of Aldermen, the city entered into an agreement with S.E. Huey Consulting Engineers for the design work on the project. City engineer Robbie George will head the project.
