Bayou Black Rodeo returns

The city of Monroe has announced the return of the Bayou Black Open Rodeo to the Monroe Civic Center arena.

The annual event is set for Saturday, Aug. 20. A portion of the event proceeds benefits the O.K. Program of Monroe.

The program has grown in scope and reached out to the community with assistance from funds raised during the Bayou Black Rodeo event. Tickets are on sale now at the Monroe Civic Center Box Office and via Ticketmaster.
