Fitness franchise growing in area
The fitness fad has hit Ouachita Parish big time and the undisputed king is Anytime Fitness with six locations and a re-location under construction on Cypress (Highway 80) in West Monroe.
A unique concept that offers access to a first-class fitness facility 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with security codes and security cameras as well as a membership that can be used in an Anytime Fitness Facility anywhere. The new facility on Cypress will add a new feature called 'fitness on request', a workout video of your choice projected on a mega screen in a special room
Mark Johnson, a local CPA is the Anytime Fitness owner and franchise developer for our area. Mark is a 1978 graduate of Farmerville High School and has a degree in Accounting from Louisiana Tech. He says he is not a fitness guru himself but saw an opportunity in the fitness crave sweeping the nation.
