Day stays in game despite injury
West Monroe resident Morgan Day grew up playing baseball every year at Biedenharn Sports Complex.
Day dreamed of being a Major League Baseball player from a very young age. Baseball consumed his time away from the classroom and his summers.
During the 2001 school year, Day injured his back while lifting weights with the freshman football team at West Monroe High School.
