Jaycees to host annual fireworks celebration
The Monroe Jaycees annual Fourth of July celebrations at Forsythe Park kicks off Saturday afternoon with events planned for the entire family.
This year's event will be held from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, July 2, along the Ouachita River in Forsythe Park.
It includes a number of activities for the family such as food, shopping opportunities and live music. The event will be capped off with a fireworks show beginning around 9 p.m. and lasting for about 15 minutes.
