Council OKs another change order The city of Monroe must spend additional $83,000 on the ongoing project to build a new terminal at Monroe Regional Airport as contractors presented the City Council Tuesday with the 15th change order for the job.
Lincoln Builders of Ruston is 65 percent complete with the $36-million airport terminal project. Construction began in August 2009.
Since the project began roughly two years ago, Lincoln Builders has returned to the City Council with 15 change orders that have increased the cost of the project by more than $2 million.
