Christmas arrives early for Ouachita Parish CenturyLink to expand corporate presence create hundreds of jobs here
CenturyLink will expand its corporate headquarters in Monroe, creating hundreds of new jobs for the northeastern Louisiana economy over the next several years, CenturyLink officials and Gov. Bobby Jindal announced Tuesday.
The 850 new jobs CenturyLink expects to generate in Ouachita Parish over the next five years are in addition to roughly 300 jobs CenturyLink said it would create here when the company announced an expansion project in 2009.
CenturyLink President Glen Post III said the company and the state have entered into an incentive agreement that calls for CenturyLink to add roughly 1,150 new jobs in northeastern Louisiana by 2016. .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
