Lawmen prepare for long holiday weekend This Fourth of July holiday weekend, local law enforcement agencies will be out in full force looking to crack down on impaired drivers.
Trooper Mark Dennis with State Police Troop F said safety and sober driving is the No. 1 priority for law enforcement agencies this weekend.
He said automobile accidents during holiday weekends that involve serious injuries and fatalities historically are attributed to impaired drivers.
