Love notes from London! As you are reading this, Mike Cage and I are on the way home (God's Will) from, I am sure, a fabulous trip to London. My Grandmother, Ruby Baker, used to say she never heard anyone say they had a bad trip. I feel if I get home safely, I have had a wonderful trip!

So here it is — June the 18th — and I am working on my Ouachita Citizen column for this June 30. A hundred things to do, get packed, stop the paper, check with the yard man, go over everything with the housekeeper, make sure the dogs are fed and loved, feed the birds, feed the fish.

Speaking of feeding, at one point of my life with Mike Cage, I wanted a horse. I grew up riding and have missed having a horse. I was thinking I may get a horse. Mike never says no so when he does, I know he is serious. He looked me straight in the eyes and said I will buy you anything, but, nothing  that we have to feed because I know who will have to feed it! As Jack Tom Jackson use to say, "O.K. den!"
