Suicide prevention is something that has been a hot topic in sports on the national scene for many years and it has recently hit home as local movie production company R2 Productions begin filming a movie at Neville High School featuring local basketball talent that deals with those tough issues of teen suicide.

Tom Taylor is the head coach of the varsity boys basketball team at Ouachita Christian School in Monroe.

Taylor went through this horrible process in real life during his playing days at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. In 2003 one of his close friends committed suicide.
