Recruits adjusting to next level

While many local fans focus on what their favorite college football team is doing to recruit the best of the class of 2012, top local stars from the 2011 signing class are using the summer months to get acclimated to college life and the rigors of being a NCAA student-athlete these days.

At the University of Louisiana-Monroe, a pair of Friday night heroes from the 2010 season are learning the ropes as they join the Warhawks for summer workouts under head strength coach John Grieco.

Former West Monroe running back Tyler Cain and Ouachita wide receiver Justin Ginyard have literally hit the ground running since arriving on campus to work with the team last month.
