Teams host meet and greet
A pair of local all-star softball teams will be in the hunt for a district championship this weekend in Haughton.
The West Monroe Nationals and West Monroe Americans play in the Dixie Darlings 7-8 year old Division and both local teams recently qualified for the district championship tournament.
In preparation for the tournament, West Monroe Nationals coach Robby Compton announced the local teams invite the public to join them tonight at 7 p.m. at Biedenharn Sports Complex in West Monroe for a night of friendly competition as the teams prepare for the district tournament.
