LifeShare, foundation team up Jake Owen Raborn Foundation (JORF) board members awarded LifeShare Blood Centers a $12,500 grant for an online funding research program designed to identify potential funders that support each organization's mission.
The collaboration will allow the two non-profits to work more efficiently in hopes of improving fund raising results. JORF Co-Founder Don Raborn currently spends hours searching for funding sources. LifeShare will use the JORF grant to purchase a five-year online database subscription that will enable its Development staff to conduct detailed research about foundations and corporate funding sources. Combinations of various criteria enable the user to generate lists of viable potential funders to which grant applications or funding requests can then be submitted. LifeShare will collaborate with JORF by providing funding research assistance. .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
