Law enforcements agencies throughout Ouachita and Morehouse parishes have joined Fourth Judicial District Court in a pilot program that will allow for warrants to be handled electronically.

Officials unveiled the new program during a media event Friday, June 17, at the Ouachita Parish Courthouse.

According to Chief Judge Wilson Rambo, the ability to submit warrants electronically means law enforcement agencies would be able to serve warrants within minutes, instead of waiting sometimes two hours to get all the necessary signatures to execute them.
