Reddix: 'Think Recycle' would benefit parish

Ouachita Parish Police Juror Dr. Ollibeth Reddix wants the parish to do a better job of recycling.

During the Police Jury's regular meeting Monday, Reddix requested that Police Jury staff look into ways the parish could improve recycling and report its findings to the Police Jury at a future meeting.

Her request was prompted by last week's news that the University of Louisiana-Monroe was named the number two recycling school in the United States by a national fundraising group called Think Recycle. The ULM Child Development Center has participated in the Think Recycle program since 2007.
