Local Tea Party plans rally July 1
Local citizens are invited to attend the Northeast Louisiana Tea Party rally 7 p.m. July 1, at the West Monroe Convention Center.
Guest speaker will be Dr. Kevin Gutzman, an author, lawyer and professor from Connecticut. He is the author of three books, "Who Killed the Constitution," "Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution," and "Virginia's American Revolution."
He will have a book-signing event at Books-A-Million from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on July 1.
Other speakers and music will be featured during the rally.
Candidates running for local and state offices will be on hand.
Participants are encouraged to bring canned goods to donate to the Salvation Army. |
