Monroe hosts 48th annual pageant Contestant photos are on Page 10A of this week's The Ouachita Citizen.
The 48th annual Miss Louisiana Pageant, one of Monroe's premiere events, will be held June 23-25 at the Monroe Civic Center's W.L. "Jack" Howard Theater and will feature contestants from across the state vying for the title of Miss Louisiana.
Each night the events will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Preliminary competition will be held on Thursday and Friday evening and the live statewide telecast will be held on Saturday, June 25.
Tickets for the 2011 Miss Louisiana Pageant are available through Ticketmaster and at the box office at the Monroe Civic Center's Jack L. Howard Theatre.
Tickets for Thursday and Friday competitions are $11 or $21. Tickets for the Saturday finals are $16 or $31.
The Monroe Civic Center is located at 401 Lea Joyner Memorial Expressway, Monroe.
