CCS' Bennett starts over
The coaching carousel has been busy in Ouachita Parish over the past week and it made an impact at Claiborne Christian School of West Monroe.
CCS accepted the resignation of longtime softball head coach Kristin Bennett last week.
In a sense, Bennett was the softball program at CCS for years.
Bennett began the CCS softball program in 2007 — taking a former incarnation of slow-pitch softball from 1997-1999 and taking the new fast-pitch team into the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.
