Sobriety checkpoint set
In an effort to combat impaired driving in our area, Louisiana State Police Troop F Troopers and the West Monroe Police Department will team up with additional law enforcement agencies to conduct a sobriety checkpoint this weekend.
On Friday, June 17, a sobriety checkpoint will be conducted in the West Monroe city limits from about 6 p.m.-midnight. Agencies participating in the checkpoint include: West Monroe, Monroe, ULM and Bastrop Police Departments; Morehouse Sheriff's Department; and the State Police.
