Miss Louisiana contestants gear up for events
The 48th annual Miss Louisiana Pageant, one of Monroe's premiere events, will be held June 23-25 at the Monroe Civic Center's W.L. "Jack" Howard Theater and will feature the 35 contestants from across the state vying for the title of Miss Louisiana.
Each night the events will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Preliminary competition will be held on Thursday and Friday evening and the live statewide telecast will be held on Saturday, June 25.
Contestant photos will be featured in the June 23 edition of The Ouachita Citizen.
