Youth boxer wins regional championship
Local amateur boxer Darwyn Price of West Monroe recently won the USA Boxing Southeast regional championship by defeating Terrance York of Huntsville,Ala. in the 152 lbs. division.
Price now qualifies for the U.S. National Championship tournament to be held in Colorado Springs, Colo., on June 19-26.
Also boxing in the tournament will be West Monroe boxer Greg Soileau.
