Baseball finals find new hosts The Louisiana High School Athletic Association recently voted to move around some the baseball state tournaments with Warhawk Field at the University of Louisiana-Monroe left out of the fold for at least another couple of seasons.
ULM hosted the Class 2A and 3A tournaments from 2008-2009, but those games moved two years ago with 1A and 2A being played at Fair Grounds Field in Shreveport and 3A joining Class 4A at J.C. Love Field on the campus of Louisiana Tech University.
Louisiana Tech lost out on the Class 3A-4A tournament this time around, but learned that the 1A-2A tournament would move from Shreveport to Ruston next spring.
