MPD holds design contest
As the Monroe Police Department moves forward with its new administration under Police Chief Quentin Holmes, the department looks to update its departmental patch.
The police department is seeking community participation in helping it come up with the design for the new patch.
"Our Department is seeking new, fresh designs that clearly represent Monroe's unique qualities, and who better to ask for ideas than the community we serve," Holmes said.
