Tradition of excellence
For the third time in the past four years and the fourth time in the past 15 years, the University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawk track and field team is sending a javelin thrower to the NCAA National Championships.
Junior Richard McKay recently qualified for the national championships and will represent ULM at the event held at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. The NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships began Wednesday and end Saturday.
McKay is one in a long line of highly successful javelin throwers to come through ULM.
