Monroe changes trash pickup schedule
The City of Monroe Sanitation Division (Public Works Department) announces that beginning Monday, June 13, 2011, until the Labor Day Holiday, garbage collections will begin at 5 a.m.
This may require an adjustment in time that customers put out their garbage cans.
Due to the normal triple digit temperature days during the summer, this change in the start of garbage collection time is to allow sanitation workers to begin their daily route during the cooler hours of the early morning. |
