Senior prom for seniors Saturday With "Memories" as the theme, Angel Ministries will host the sixth annual "Senior Prom for Seniors" from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Ouachita Council on Aging.
Music will be provided by the Louisiana Big Band under the direction of Brian Lassiter, who has played for all five previous proms.
Sweet Harmony, a four-part harmony singing group from the area, will provide entertainment during the intermission at the dance. Pictures and stories about previous proms will be shared during the evening.
The 2011 King and Queen will be chosen from a dance contest and be crowned by 2010 Queen, Betty Greer.
Refreshments will be available and a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of guests. There is no charge to attend the dance, but guests must sign up ahead of time to attend at the Ouachita Council on Aging or the West Ouachita Senior Center.
