Clinic brings coaches together

The Louisiana National Guard Bayou Jamb Coach's Clinic and Golf Scramble is one of several area golf events scheduled to have high interest this weekend in northeast Louisiana.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the Pine Hills Golf Club in Calhoun.

The golf tournament boasts several prizes, including a 2011 Series 7 BMW as part of the Hole-In-One prize on Hole 11 furnished by Hixson Autoplex.

In addition to the golf scramble, local coaches will have the opportunity to listen to presentations by some of the top football minds in America.

Louisiana State University Tiger head coach Les Miles is the keynote speaker of the event with former University of Louisiana-Monroe strength and conditioning coach Al Miller also scheduled to speak.
