Rebel baseball hires new coach
The West Monroe High School baseball team hired a replacement for head coach Mark Sims, who resigned on April 11.
Former St. Louis Catholic High School head coach Ross Blankenship will officially take the reigns of the Rebel baseball program this week.
Blankenship was chosen from among the applicants who applied, including long-time WMHS assistant Trey Long, St. Frederick head coach Paul Guerriero, and Claiborne Christian School head coach and athletic director, Chad Olinde.
