LSU left out of tournament
Hope quickly turned to despair in the hearts and minds of the Louisiana State University Tiger baseball team Monday afternoon as the group learned they would not make the field of 64 in the NCAA Tournament.
The field was set Monday by the NCAA selection committee.
LSU (36-20) won seven of their last 10 games but went 13-17 in the Southeastern Conference and failed to make the SEC tournament.
