Area athletes take home track titles
Hundred of top youth track and field athletes converged on Brown Stadium on the University of Louisiana-Monroe campus Saturday for the Peak Performance Invitational Track Meet.
Several of the local athletes had top performances in the meet.
Roniesha Walker took first-place in the 100-meter girls bantam race with a time of 15.16 seconds.
Walker also won the 200-meter dash with a time of 32.3 seconds.
