If you don't already know, you will now. Another major company has decided to relocate and stay in Ouachita Parish.

After more than 60 years at their large complex on a 14- acre site in south Monroe on Jackson Street, the national engineering firm, Ford, Bacon & Davis (FB&D) is relocating across the river into West Monroe. This 117-year old company and its affiliates have grown to a ranking of No. 30 in the world according to Engineering News Record magazine's list of the "Top 500 Design Firms."

Over the years, FB&D has built a solid reputation for its design and construction of heavy industrial facilities such as paper mills, power plants, chemical plants, refineries and petrochemicals plants.
