MEMORIAL DAY! Hug a VETERAN & say THANK YOU! Saturday, May 28th  at 11 a.m.: Chennault Aviation and Military Museum will be celebrating Memorial Day. Get the children, grandchildren, friends and grandparents for a fun-filled day at the museum! General MIKE WOOLEY, ULM Alumni as guest speaker, the Color Guard, Antique Car Show, Rock climbing Wall, Hot Dogs and new exhibit signed and numbered lithographs of Flying Tiger Aircraft. It is going to be fun! What a beautiful museum we have, lots to be proud of!

Thanks to many who helped to make this museum a dream come true for North Louisiana.
Mike Cage and I went to hear DR. PERRY JONES give a talk about his experiences in the Korean War. What a story, two purple hearts, fighting in -40 degree weather. There was standing room only. We saw ROY JOHNS, TOMMY DANSBY, WILLIE RAGAN, TERRY GANNAWAY, DR. GUTHRIE JARRELL LEE ESTES and many more. Keep an eye out for all the wonderful programs and exhibits! You will enjoy! NELL CALLOWAY, you are doing a great job. Thank you!

If you do not have a copy of "FADING WARRIORS" by Lee Estes, you have missed a treat! All the stories are wonderful. One of my favorites is about Henry LeRoy Johns. There is a darling picture of CLARICE SLAGLE, his wife, in a hula skirt!
