Oak Grove ends OCS season
The Ouachita Christian School Eagles saw their dreams of a second consecutive Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 1A baseball championship dashed Friday as District 2-1A rival Oak Grove dismissed the Eagles from the playoffs with a 11-7 semi-final victory at Fair Grounds Field in Shreveport.
Oak Grove wasted no time in jumping out to a comfortable lead as they went ahead 3-0 in the first inning.
Cade Thomason delivered the big hit in the inning with a two-run triple in the first inning that put the Eagles back on their heels.
