Crusaders on to state
The Claiborne Christian School Crusaders got another dominant pitching performance from junior Zach Osbon and more potent offense to blank Grace Christian School, 10-0 Saturday.
With the win CCS advances to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class C semi-finals for the fourth consecutive season. The tournament will begin at 10 a.m. Friday with CCS playing Hicks High School at Bringhurst Field in Alexandria.
CCS has won the last three straight Class C baseball championships. On Saturday, Osbon put together a no-hitter in one of his best performances of the season.
