Eagles back to state tournament
The Ouachita Christian School Eagles will defend their Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 1A baseball title in the state tournament at Fair Grounds Field this Friday at 1 p.m.
OCS earned their second consecutive trip to the semi-finals in Shreveport last week with a 14-6 victory over the LaSalle Tigers. OCS pounded out 15 hits compared to just nine for LaSalle.
Creighton Jones was the starting and winning pitcher for OCS but Jones also got the job done on offense as well.
