Warriors fall vs. St. Mary
The St. Frederick Warriors saw their baseball season come to an end Friday as they lost in the quarterfinals of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 1A playoffs to No. 1 St. Mary, 4-0.
St. Frederick enjoyed new found success under first-year head coach Tim O'Neil in 2011 following a couple of dismal playoff showings the past two seasons.
The Warriors rebounded from a rough 0-6 start to win nine consecutive District 2-1A games and earn second-place in the district ahead of arch-rival and defending state champion Ouachita Christian School.
