Webber eyes $2.4M for Smart boards
Superintendent Dr. Bob Webber is poised to recommend the Ouachita Parish School Board authorize the purchase of 500 Smart boards for eastern and western Ouachita parish schools.
Webber plans to make his recommendation to the School Board during its May 17 meeting.
Webber's recommendation will come on the heels of parish voters approving three propositions in Saturday's election to fund operations and other expenditures at Ouachita Parish Schools.
Total cost for the 500 Smart boards should be $2.4 million, according to Webber.
