Grass sometimes greener at home

I have just returned from a visit with our three grandchildren, our daughter April and son-in law Travis.

They live close to downtown in Aspen, Colo. April is the director of the Aspen Birthing Center at Aspen General Hospital.

During our visit over the Easter holidays, it snowed every day. Snow may be beautiful, but this southern boy was never so glad to get back to southern warm sunshine.

We have all heard of this quaint skiing village located at 7,000 foot elevation with more "part time" occupied condos than residents. Permanent residences are only 5,000 with thousands of visitors during ski season.
