Funeral services for Daniel Edward Amos, 47, of Monroe, were held Sunday, May 1, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment followed at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Lloyd Nathaniel Barnett Sr.
Funeral service for Lloyd Nathaniel Barnett, Sr., 91, were held Wednesday, May 4, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Joe Walter Bradford
Funeral services for Joe Walter Bradford, 78, of West Monroe, were held Thursday, May 5, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Scott Dickson officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Choudrant, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.

Marie Pylant Bryan
Funeral services for Marie Pylant Bryan, 81, of West Monroe, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, with Rev. Mark Fenn officiation. Interment was at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens in West Monroe.
Mrs. Bryan was born May 8, 1929, in West Monroe and passed away May 1, 2011, in West Monroe. She was a member of First Baptist Church West Monroe.
Survivors include her sons, Russell Bryan and wife, Leslie, of West Monroe and Douglas Bryan and wife, Linda, of Pineville; grandsons, Andrew Bryan, Brandon Bryan and Dustin Bryan; sisters, Eloise Smith and Floye Eichler; brother; Raymond Pylant and wife, Melba; and numerous nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws.
Grandsons and nephews were pallbearers.
Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Buck Treadway officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery in Eros, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe.

Funeral services for Ian Jay Nelson, Jr., 34, of West Monroe, were held Tuesday, May 3, at New Light Baptist Church in Monroe. He passed away May 1 in Homer.

Funeral services for Mertie Marie Pilgram, 82, of West Monroe, were held Thursday, May 5, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun with Rev. Ron Lowe officiating.

Wanda Dell Lent Shambro
Funeral services for Wanda Dell Lent Shambro, 70, of Monroe, were held Saturday, April 30,at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mary E. Jones Woods
Graveside services for Mrs. Mary E. Jones Woods were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Arcadia Memorial Cemetery in Arcadia, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe. Officiating was Rev. Jeff Hoffman.
Mary E. Jones Woods, age 92, died Saturday morning in West Monroe.
Mrs. Woods, a native of Bryceland, Bienville Parish, and a longtime resident of Arcadia, was a retired school teacher in Bienville Parish School System.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Woods.
Her survivors include one son, Ronald Woods, M.D. and his wife, Patricia of West Monroe; four grandchildren, Roxanne Bennett and her husband, Mickey, of West Monroe, Monique Woods of Houston, Texas, Brandon Woods and his wife, Mary P., of Baton Rouge, and Michael Woods of Dallas, Texas; and two great-grandchildren, Brinkley Bennett and Hayes Woods.
Pallbearers were Brandon Woods, Michael Woods, Mickey Bennett, Randall Murphy, Joe Reeves and Don Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Tom Lolley, M.D., William D. Smith, M.D., and John Pilgreen.
Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 2, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in West Monroe, First Baptist Church in Arcadia or to the donor's choice.
