We're living in troubled times

Yes, we are living in troubled times…both in America and all around the world. We may ask, "Where is God in all of this?" Well, like he has in everything else, God has given us the key.

"Psalm 50:15"…call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me." Now…let's go back and see what God has told us about "troubled times." Beginning with Genesis 3, and moving through the Old Testament, we find that Adam and Eve lived in troubled times.

As did Cain and Able… Noah... Abraham... Saul... David... along with everybody else! Turning to the New Testament, we find that Christianity was born and came to maturity in troubled times. Jerusalem was under Roman control (Luke 2) and Caesar's tax law brought Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born.
