Parish students to learn importance of Sparta The Ouachita Parish School Board agreed to spend $5,000 for a representative with the Sparta Ground Water Commission to educate students about water conservation next school year.

"We have a water problem in this nation, in this state, in this region and also in this parish," Gouedy said. "As an education coordinator, it is my job to look at every venue about water concerns." .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
