Area track teams compete
Area high school track teams are blazing trails toward the Louisiana High School Athletic Association State Championships to be held May 5-7 at Bernie Moore Track Complex at LSU.
Before the young men and women can qualify for the biggest stage in LHSAA track and field, the athletes will have to finish in the top four of their events at the regional championships this week.
Sterlington hosted the Region I-2A event at the University of Louisiana-Monroe Grossclose Track Complex on Tuesday.
