Books can be important mentors
I have read hundreds of books over my 65 years of living. Books have been important mentors for me. I have read hundreds of biographies and autobiographies about high achievers. And there is one word that appears in every story. PASSION. Not one biography has failed to mention this powerful force in their lives. Successful people are passionate about what they do. Warren Buffet simply states you will do well at whatever turns you on.
Nola Ochs waited until she was beyond 90 years of age to go to college. When she entered college, she discovered a passion for history. She related her life stories. The Dust Bowl of the 1930's; World Wars I and II: cattle drives; horse driven wagons, Pearl Harbor and the experiences that she had in her 95 years. She received her degree at 95.
