Beautification work broadens efforts Keep West Monroe Beautiful has been involved in a number of local projects during 2011 as the organization celebrates 11 years as a local affiliate with Keep Louisiana Beautiful. The group's most recent effort to improve the appearance of West Monroe was during the local Great American Cleanup event held in late March.
Approximately 125 people from local organizations, businesses, area schools and church groups joined Keep West Monroe Beautiful to help collect more than 200 bags of trash during the event.
