Kiroli students' art on display Two Kiroli Elementary students now have their artwork on display at the Louisiana Governor's Mansion through the month of April.
Fifth-grader Spencer Yeats and first-grader Nicolette Hendrix are among several Louisiana students who have their artwork on display at the mansion.
First Lady Supriya Jindal said, "Louisiana's children are incredibly talented – their creativity is demonstrated in each piece of artwork showcased for the month of April. I look forward to sharing these beautiful pieces with everyone who visits the Governor's Mansion in April." The First Lady asked principals from schools across Louisiana to submit works for display in the Louisiana Governor's Mansion.
In 2008, the Jindal family dedicated a wall of the mansion to children's artwork. Every month a new group of art is displayed to pay tribute to Louisiana's young artists. |
